Vinay has worked in the FMCG industry for 10+ years specifically in sales, distribution and marketing functions. He headed the sales team across rural and urban India; managed established brands @ ITC Foods like Sunfeast and led launches of various sub-brands.

He was also fortunate to be a part of a pioneer social business model - E- Choupal where I was responsible for rural distribution and Choupal Saagar (rural hypermarket) projects. He is currently intrigued by and interested in farming, food processing and supply chain technology which makes independent farmer-owned micro units sustainable.

His other myriad interests include behavioural economics, rock climbing and meditation.

At Go Desi they are building a packaged food brand sourced, processed and branded at the farm gate with the aim of increasing marginal farmers share in the food value chain.
