Gauri Devidayal - Director, Food Matters India, Pvt Ltd

A law graduate from University College London and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales, Gauri Devidayal started her career as a tax consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked for 8 years across London and Mumbai. On her return to Mumbai in 2008, she started The Table, a restaurant in South Mumbai with her husband, Jay Yousuf.

She was listed in Forbes India’s 120 Leaders of Change, GQ’s list of the 50 Most Influential Young Indians, BlackBook’s Top 50 Women in Indian Luxury, and is on the Managing Committee of the National Restaurant Association of India. Occasionally Gauri also writes for print and online publications on her favourite subjects – food and travel.
